All told, I worked with Dave for about 16 years at three different companies. Together, we worked through some very happy times and also some difficult times. In my early days at UMEL Dave taught me many things. Regrettably, I did not stay in regular contact with him in recent years but I shall always remember him as a kind, jovial man with a fantastic sense of humour and probably above all else he was a “family first” man. The world is a poorer place without him.
